Adrian Madden (b. May 2001 - d. 2024), later known as Dark Lord, was an English pure-blood wizard believed to have been the most influential and dangerous Dark wizard of all time after Lord Voldemort's demise.

Magical powers and talents

• Magical knowledge: Even at a young age, Adrian proved himself to be a precociously gifted magical prodigy, as he was able to utilize and control magic, without the use of a wand or even knowing the very existence of magic itself, to an unnaturally high level: he had the power to move objects with his mind, to communicate with and control animals, and even inflict harm on those who opposed or annoyed him.

• Dark Arts: Adrian is skilled in the Dark Arts and is widely regarded as the most powerful practitioner of the Dark Arts the world has ever known during his control of terror.

• Dueling: Adrian is a duelist of tremendous skill, essentially outstanding. When she found out he was a dark lord, he dueled Lauren and dueled with Aurora in the Forbidden Forest.

• Potions: Adrian is incredibly familiar with potions.

• Charms: Adrian is extremely talented with charms.

• Apparition: Adrian is incredibly gifted in Apparition. He could apparate with great precision even when sealed in fighting, using this ability to avoid and escape spells when duelling Lauren Bones, his ex-girlfriend.

• Legilimency: Adrian is very gifted and practices using Legilimency, being able to protect his mind and infiltrate the minds of others. He was incredibly talented and skilled in Legilimency at a young age.

• Flying: Adrian is capable and has developed the ability to fly without help, disobeying the law of magic that states objects can only fly through the use of a flying charm. 

• Transfiguration: Adrian showed excellent and near-unrivalled skills in Transfiguration.

• Defense Against the Dark Arts: Adrian had earned a high score on his O.W.L. and N.E.W.T exams, and thus, this was his favorite subject as a student. He was expertly skilled in protecting from dark magic and was the most powerful practitioner of the Dark Arts.

• Spell creation: Like Voldemort, Adrian was also extremely capable of inventing his magical spells, as evidenced by the spell Morsmordre, which summoned the Dark Mark in the sky, one of the former Dark Lord's dark inventions.

• Wand versatility: Like Voldemort, Adrian has also shown the ability to use wands other than his own with no impediment.

• Intimidation: Like Lord Voldemort, Adrian was nearly unequaled in having the same ability for obvious torment and murder, and commanded an incredibly rough sight, enough to frighten low-level thugs and make them work for him out of sheer fear of how he would react to their rejection.

• Brilliant genius: Like Voldemort, Adrian was not only a wonderful wizard but also possessed an extraordinary, genius mind.

• Charisma and manipulation: At a young age, like his distant relative, Voldemort, Adrian showed a unique talent for the manipulation of others. He even manipulates his girlfriend, Lauren, for a short time until Lauren finally learns that Adrian only uses him for his own purpose. Also, he manipulates Aurora to turn her against Lauren to use his charisma on her.

• Acting skills: Besides his formidable magical skills and extensive knowledge of magic, Adrian proved to be a consummate actor, being able to hide his true nature from almost everyone in Hogwarts.

• Leadership skills: As a young student, Madden was already a very effective leader. He had his own gang during his years at Hogwarts and gained them; however, it was only a short time until he was sent to Azkaban for his crimes.

• Occlumency (possibly): the magic of closing one's mind against legitimacy. Adrian had this talent; however, it was not confirmed.

• Parseltongue: Adrian could speak a snake language like his distant relative, Lord Voldemort, and his ancestor, Salazar Slytherin.

Family:

Adrian was very close to her mother and sister but it is unknown what happened to his father; however, his mother died of illness, leaving Adrian to raise her sister.

He and Isobel attended both Hogwarts; however, Adrian was much earlier than she.

In 2019, Adrian's sister died from an unknown curse, which devastated Adrian and started doing forbidden things to relieve his pain.

Tom was Adrian's ancestor. Both he and Tom were related to Salazar Slytherin. Like Riddle, Adrian claimed himself the next Dark Lord for dealing with dark arts and speaking to snakes.

Aurora Amalthea

Aurora was Adrian's ex-girlfriend. During their dating, she doesn't know about Lauren and Adrian's relationship until 2021, when she discovers the truth about Adrian's relationship with Lauren during the battle. She helped Lauren escape from Adrian.
