They are friends. At first, Ominis doesn't like her and he tells her that but then Ominis starts having romantic feelings toward her, and when Lauren breaks up with Sebastian because he was involved with Dark Arts too much. Ominis becomes so close to her and starts to comfort her after she breaks up with Sebastian. He doesn't want to push her too much however Lauren tells him that if he wants to date her, Ominis is surprised but agrees and kisses her after that.
