Samantha Anne "Sam" Sallow is the firstborn child and the eldest daughter of both Lauren and Sebastian Sallow. In year 4, she learned magic; later, her parents decided to send her to Hogwarts. Like her father and uncle, she was placed in a 'Slytherin' house; however, her youngest brother stayed behind because he was too little to attend yet. In her mother's womb, she has the rare gift of seeing traces of ancient magic to protect her mother from Isidora Morganach, a former Keeper.



Magical abilities and skills

  • Love: the deep, powerful, and ineffable emotion of attachment to, and affection for, another being or beings other than oneself. It gives those who experience it the ability to do great things.
  • Duelling: As a Hogwarts student, Sam was the most skilful duellist, like her father, Sebastian was once.
  • Charms: Sam was very good with charms.
  • Dark Arts: Unlike her father, who used dark arts at a very young age, Sam did not like anything with dark arts. She hated the subject.
  • Ancient magic: Sam was born with the rare gift to see traces of ancient magic. 
  • Defence Against the Dark Arts: Sam was an accomplished duellist, starting with her fight against the trolls in Hogsmeade, eventually becoming capable of taking on and beating countless other enemies.
